Richard Allen Willaby

Richard “Rick” Allen Willaby, 62 of Wagoner, Oklahoma, passed away on March 11, 2026 at 4:03am in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Rick was born on August 6, 1963 in Albert Lea, MN to Clarence and Margie (Waalkens) Willaby. As a child his family moved to Tecumseh, Oklahoma where Rick attended and graduated high school. Rick had many joys in his life including fishing, riding motorcycles, and sharing his love of cooking.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; Margie Waalkens Willaby Buckmaster, Clarence Willaby; Stepfather, Louis Buckmaster, Brother; Michael Willaby, Son; Christopher Willaby and late wife; Annette (King) Willaby

Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Lanica, Child; Asia (Michael) Watson, Sister; Debbie (Steve) Barrett, Parents-in-law; Myrtle Burton, Joyce Day, Brother; Brian Willaby, Sister; Mary (Scott) Hawkins, Sister-in-law; Donna Willaby, Grandchildren; Anneliese, Ian, Hunter, Lincoln, Jak, Alex, and Zayne, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The celebration of life will be held on March 21, 2026 at 11:00am at Immanuel Fellowship Church, 1500 US-69, Wagoner, Ok 74467. We will be servicing catered BBQ. Please come and share a meal together in his memory.

Superman was Rick’s favorite superhero, and blue was his favorite color. To honor him and celebrate the things he loved, we kindly ask guests to wear blue or their favorite Superman shirt to the service.

Following the memorial service, a meal will be provided, and the family asks that you join them to share stories and memories of Rick.
