Richard Leroy Woodby Jr was born January 4, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to Richard L. Sr. and Mary L. (Hawkins) Woodby, who both preceded him in death. He graduated from Lincoln Park High Scholl and soon began working for Ford Glass, beginning a career that lasted more than 30 years. Richard was a very kind man and enjoyed life very much. His liked to collect vintage records, especially those by the Beatles and Elvis Presley. He departed this life on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, just 4 days past his 58th birthday. Survivors include his closest companion, Lynne Woodby of the home; a stepdaughter, Mandy; grandchildren, Annabelle, Abigail and Brian; two sisters, Deanne Hensley and Mary Ferguson; a brother, Willie Woodby; six nieces and nephews; other relatives; his co-workers and other friends. A memorial service for Richard will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner.
