Robert "Bob" Lewis Baker Sr.

Heaven gained another angel June 9th, 2026. Robert Lewis Baker Sr. was born on March 3rd, 1955, to Lewis and Kathryn Baker. He grew up in the Wagoner and Warner areas. He was one of six boys. Those that grew up with him knew him as Bob or Boob. Bob met the love of his life Brenda Gilbreth, who he married and shared many wonderful years with. They had three children- Robby, Teresa , and Andrew Baker. He worked hard to provide for his family. Bob loved it when his family got together, especially after his grandkids came along. He passed his love of sports to his children and then to his grandchildren. He was so proud of all his grandkids and their accomplishments.

There are so many stories that are funny, and uplifting. Robert wouldn’t want you to be sad and grieve the life that is lost. He would want you to share the stories, hug one another, and celebrate the time you have left with the ones you love. He is finally back with the love of his life, and I know they are holding each other and looking down watching over their family.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Baker, his parents Lewis & Kathryn Baker, and his sister Carolyn Teresa Baker. He leaves behind five brothers and their families, Scott, Bill, Mike, Mark, and Greg Baker. He will be greatly missed by his children, Robby Baker, Teresa and her husband Brian Mathis, and Andrew Baker. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Autumn, Kinzy, Katlin, Austin, Karolyn, Zachary, Emry, and Jencen, and one great-grandchild Aubrey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

There will be a viewing and visitation from 1:00 -3:00 pm on Sunday June 14, 2026, at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner. The graveside service will be at the Warner Memorial Cemetery Monday June 15, 2026, at 11:00 am, when Robert will be laid to rest next to the love of his life, Brenda. Pastor Josh McElyea will officiate.

Pallbearers are Robby Baker, Andrew Baker, Austin Baker, Zachary Mathis, and Bradley Verel. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Baker, Bill Baker, Mike Baker, Mark Baker, and Greg Baker.
