Robert Wayne Crawford, Sr. was born April 4, 1929, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Fred N. and Margaret (Utter) Crawford.  He passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in the Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years.

Wayne served in the Marines and was a veteran of the Korean War. After his military service, Wayne spent his entire career in aviation--primarily as an electronics engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia Crawford; son, Richard E. "Ricky" Crawford; brother, Fred Crawford, Jr. and his sister, JoAnn Oehrke.

He is survived by one son, R. W. "Bobby" Crawford, Jr. and wife, Sue of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Brett and Stephen Crawford; brother, Paul Edward Crawford, Sr. and wife, Jacki, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service at Forest Park Cemetery in The Woodlands, Texas is scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.
