The funeral service celebrating the homegoing of Robert Gray will be on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner, Oklahoma.

The visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday when friends and family will gather at the funeral home.

Robert Keith Gray was born on March 24, 1957 to Cornelius Gray and Mary Lee Williams-Gray in Muskogee, OK. He was the 3rd oldest of 8 children. Robert attended Okay High School, where he enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and participating in other school activities. Shortly after high school he married Sandra (McNack) Gray in Muskogee, OK, and to this union 3 children were born. They shortly moved to Brownwood, TX where he worked and eventually became a foreman at Kholer, retiring after 30 years. Years after his divorce Robert welcomed his 4th child.

Robert was a sweet, funny man, but you didn't cross him because he didn't mind telling you what he thought. He adored his whole family, especially his kids and grandchildren. His family will cherish his memory and always find comfort in how he was caring to everyone and always puts others before himself. Robert always knew God, but became closer to God during the last few years of his life.

Robert departed this life to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Abilene, Texas at the age of 64 years. Preceding him in death were:  Cornelius Gray (dad), Mary Lee Gray (mother), Cornelius Gray (brother), Sharon Gray (sister), Bryanna Berniard (niece), Tamica Webber (niece), and Vernon Gray (nephew).

He is survived by:  children: son DeMario Gray, daughter Robyn Swanson and Dante Swanson (spouse), daughter Tanya Gray ,daughter Rachel Moseley; grandchildren: Kyara, Jasmine, Davonte, Danae, Dante, Gracele, Jordyn, and Tajuan; siblings: sister Linda Gray, sister Cynthia Gray-Thompson, brother Edwin Gray and wife Maria Gray, brother Larry Gray, and sister Lisa Gray-Piper, sister/cousin Cheryl Kimbrough and husband Carlos Kimbrough; many nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
