Pace, Sr.
December 31, 1940 – April 17, 2017
Robert Lee Pace, Sr. was born December 31, 1940 in Los Angeles, California to Vester and Helen Joice (Davis) Pace. He was employed in the maintenance department of Thatcher Glass in California before his retirement. He also had a journeyman's card. Bob had talents and interest in many areas. He was into amateur radio and knew the Morse code and sign language. While in California he participated in the sport of body building. He loved art and painting and liked to play the tambourine, which he made himself. He also enjoyed gardening.
Bob departed this life early Monday, April 17, 2017 at his home in Wagoner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vester and Helen Pace; a son, Robert L. Pace, Jr., and a sister, Jill Castle.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Pace, whom he married April 7, 2001; three daughters, Renee Inman-Ward of Muskogee, OK, Deanna Humble of Wagoner, OK and Tina Pennington of Tahlequah, OK; grandchildren, Kim, Alex, Aurelia, Ariann, Heath, D.J., Haley and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Gabby, Nick, Josh, Chris and Landon; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM.
The Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner. Officiating will be the Reverend Don Reed and Pastor Broshe Gattenby.
