Obituary
Mr. Robert LeRoy Smith was born April 26, 1946 in Vermont, Illinois. He served in the United States Navy from 1963-1967. He was a retired Master Electrician.
Robert departed this life early Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Wagoner, OK, where he was currently making his home. He and his family made their home in the Vian, OK area for many years. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Roy Harrison Smith, and mother, Doris Ellen (Herron) Smith, along with three brothers and one sister.
His loving family who survive him include his wife, Kathern V. Smith of the home; his six children, Robert Smith of Houston, TX, Nancy Sneed of Carthage, MO, Robert Williams of Tulsa, OK, Diana Condit of Sallisaw, OK, Melissa Hinckley of Vian, OK and Roy Smith of the home; six grandsons; two granddaughters, two sons -in-law, and one daughter-in-law.
Following cremation the family will hold a memorial service at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian, OK on Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m.
