Robert Waldon "Bob" Wilson was born October 25, 1942 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Waldon Herbert and Mary Maureen (Peltier) Wilson. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps until 1967 when he began service in the Marine Corps Reserve. Bob was a communication technician for ATT before retiring in 1999. He and his wife, Annita, were married April 22, 1989. They made their home in Wagoner for the past fourteen years. In his spare time Bob liked woodworking and was an avid student of history throughout his life.
Robert departed this life Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldon and Mary Wilson and a brother, Jack Curtis Wilson, in 1950.
He is survived by his wife Annita Wilson of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Shawn Curtis and Rebecca Wilson and their daughter, Analisa Wilson, all of Ward, Arkansas; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenna Dawn and David Oliveri of Las Vegas, Nevada and their sons, Jordan clay of Phoenix, Arizona and Josh Clay of Las Vegas, Nevada and many good friends.
Friends and family will gather for a Visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory.
The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Wagoner with the Reverend Mark Pointer officiating.
Interment will be in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be George Dieter, Logan Rodriguez, Dean Dieter, Jim Aveni, Josh Clay, and David Harrison. Honorary pallbearer will be Jordan Clay.
