Rodney Irwin Howard was born November 26, 1956 in Porter, Oklahoma, the fourth child of Carroll and Aleta (Smith) Howard, who precede him in death. He attended school in Haskell, OK and later worked as a welder for the pipeline industry. Rodney departed this life early Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his home in Porter. He is survived by three siblings, a sister, Delilah Boggs and her husband, Wayne, of Broken Arrow, OK; a brother, David-Sam Howard of the home in Porter and a sister, Marilyn Wisdom and her husband, Randall of Springfield, AR; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Rodney will be held graveside in Greenwood Cemetery in Porter at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012.
