Ronald Edd Carver Sr. was born on August 13, 1948, to Ronald Dean Carver and Edna Louise (Gilbert) Carver in Coweta, Oklahoma.  He departed this life on Monday, October 27, 2025, at his home in Wagoner, Oklahoma, at the age of 77.

Ronald was raised in Coweta, Oklahoma, and attended Coweta Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1966.  Following high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He later married the love of his life, Stella "Marlene" Poindexter.

Ronald loved flying his drone and capturing beautiful scenery from above, often sharing his photos and videos with friends and family.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and found peace and joy in nature.  He also treasured the time spent with his beloved dog, Buddy.  Above all, he cherished the moments shared with his family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, love, and togetherness.  His gentle nature, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will always be remembered.

Ronald is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Fannie Gilbert; his parents, Ronald and Edna Carver; his wife, Stella Carver; his brother, Darrel Carver; and his nephew, Cody Carver.

Those left to cherish the many fond memories of Ronald's life include his children, Loretta Moon and husband, Rob of Coolidge, AZ, Ronald Carver Jr and wife, Stephanie of Casa Grande, AZ, Jeff Carver of Coweta, OK, Randy Poindexter of Coweta, OK, and Stephanie Sample of Wagoner, OK; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Sharon Steeley and husband, Wayne of Coweta, OK, Darrion Carver and wife, Sherry of Coweta, OK; and sister-in-law, Pam Carver of Haskell, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, all who will miss him greatly.

Family will greet friends at a Visitation on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm, in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home to honor the life of Ronald Carver Sr.

Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery, Coweta, Oklahoma, at 1:00 pm, where Ronald will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Stella Carver. The United States Marine Corps Funeral Honors Team will conduct funeral honors.
