Rosetta Mae Sullivan was born July 11, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Franklin Sullivan and Gertrude Elizabeth (Cook) Sullivan. Rosetta attended Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She moved to Wagoner, Oklahoma with her family in the early 1950's and continued to make her home there all her life. Rosetta was well known at Jeffers Store in downtown Wagoner where she worked for many years. Her friendliness and helpful attitude was valued by her customers and employers alike.
Rosetta was known by her entire family as "Aunt Dee", a name given to her by her niece, Susan Sullivan, to whom Rosetta was especially close.
Rosetta departed this life Monday, October 10, 2022 in Wagoner at the age of 83 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin Sullivan Sr. and Gertrude Elizabeth (Cook) Sullivan; two brothers, Robert Sullivan Sr. and William Franklin "Billy" Sullivan Jr. and a niece, Susan Sullivan.
Survivors include her niece, Shara Heimbach and her husband, Randy of Broken Arrow, OK; nephew, Robert Sullivan Jr.; cousin, Barbara Jo Tipton; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; several of their children; other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 9 am until 7 pm Wednesday at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner. A private family graveside service will follow.
