Obituary

Roy Clyde Ferguson was born January 23, 1947 in Tulsa, OK to Louid and Bonnie (Caudle) Ferguson. He proudly served in the Unites States Navy during Vietnam. His last duty appointment was the USS Lenawee, until February 1967 when he transferred to the Reserves. After his service in the Navy Roy attended college. He owned and operated the Lakeside Medical in Wagoner.

Roy and Donna made their home in Wagoner, OK for the past 21 years and are members of the First Christian Church. They enjoyed a loving, close marriage. In fact, Donna expressed her devotion with this comment. "Roy's memorial service is scheduled for 10 am on the 10 th day of the 10 th month, because he was a "ten"." They spent most of their time together, whether working or enjoying the outdoors; Roy liked hunting and fishing. She will treasure the memories they made together, and Donna is comforted that Roy passed peacefully while doing what he loved, going fishing.

Roy was a man well respected and liked by all who knew him. Roy's father-in-law, Bob, said, "Any man who knew him respected him, and any lady who knew him loved him."

Roy departed this life on Sunday, September 20, 2020 in Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Roy Ferguson Jr and James Don Ferguson; grandson, Kyler Ferguson and a great-grandson, Marcus Hampton.
