Ruby B. Morgan was born December 9, 1929 in Lost City, OK to Sanford and Ola (Copeland) York. She graduated from Hulbert High School. Ruby was a longtime member of the Immanel Baptist Church in Wagoner, where she and her husband Mural made their home and raised their family. Ruby departed this life on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in Wagoner, OK at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 6 days. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, who include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Marie Morgan; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Jeff Shipman, all of Wagoner; five grandchildren and their spouses, Shelly and Rob McMillan Lari Moazami, all of Tulsa; Sheila and Rick Brewster of Broken Arrow, Nathan and Amber Shipman of Coweta and Jerrod Shipman of Wagoner; five great grandchildren, Haley and Hayden Brewster, Ana and Mia Moazami and Sierra Shipman; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Mural Morgan; her parents; two sisters, Sylvia Morgan and Hazel Collins, and a brother, Raymond York. The funeral service will be at 10 A.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Wagoner. The Reverend Charles Duvall and the Reverend Willie Rice will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jeff Shipman, Nathan Shipman, Jerrod Shipman, Rick Brewster, Bob McMillan and Rayburn Collins. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner.
