Ruby Rae Walters was born August 20, 1930 in Coweta, OK to Eli and Olive Pearl Todd. She made her home in Okay, OK most of her life. Before retirement Mrs. Walters was employed by Acme Engineering in Muskogee, OK. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and crochet. During retirement Ruby was part of the Okay Schools as a "Granny", helping in the classroom and reading to the children. Ruby passed this life Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Walters; her parents; a daughter, Phyllis Davis; two grandsons, Michael Davis and Tom Purdin; her brothers and sisters; and other relatives. Survivors include her children, Janet Kitchen and husband, Don, of Oklahoma City, OK, Dardanella Clopton and husband, Jerry, of Ft. Gibson, OK, Kevin Lasater of Okay, OK, Anthony Lasater and wife, Sandy, of Ft. Gibson, OK, Tim Davis and wife, Tracy of Okay, OK and Willis George of Okay, OK; a brother, Eli Todd, Jr. and his wife, Charlote of Kansas City; many grandchildren and great -grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Cody Blair, Matt Blair, Mark Minx, Mason Feeler, and Wade Davis.
