Ruth Elaine Beck was born to Mary Jean Dodson and Phenoia Allen Dodson in Duquoin, Illinois on May 21, 1950. She passed away peacefully in Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK on January 19, 2021 at the age of 70 years, surrounded by her loved ones.

Ruth was a beautician for fifty years. For the past seventeen years she was at Glenda's Salon in Wagoner. In her spare time she loved to sew, making beautiful quilts for her children and grandchildren.

She will be missed by many who knew her.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Terry Beck of the home; her son, Bobby Stroud and his wife, Christi Stroud of Wagoner; daughter, Tami Boswell and her husband, Mike Boswell of Wagoner; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Shoats and her husband, Verdell Shoats of Owasso; four brothers, Barney Dodson of Tulsa, Vernie Dodson and his wife, Terri Dodson of Bixby, Mark Dodson and his wife, Brenda Dodson of Muskogee and Phenoia Dodson and his wife, Phyllis Dodson of Brownsboro, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives; her Glenda's Salon family and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Phenoia Dodson; her mother, Mary Dodson, a daughter, Kathy Stroud and one grandson.

In life we loved you dearly.

In death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place

No one else will ever fill.
