Sandra Ann Daniels was born August 26, 1940 in Muskogee, OK to Harold Thomas Gaither and Lucinda Marie (Tadpole) Gaither. After graduating from high school Sandra joined the U.S. Army (Women's Army Corps) at the age of 18 and served thirteen months. She completed her education at a junior college in Modesto, CA.

Before retirement Sandra worked for the Cherokee Nation Housing Authority as a project manager, taking care of the rental properties.

In her spare time Sandra liked going to the casino and playing pool. She loved riding her golf cart and enjoyed going to Cherry's Antique Store in Chouteau, OK.

Sandra loved spending time with her family. They will always cherish the memory of how she loved to aggravate people, just for fun. She loved being in her home, built to her own design specification, next to Dustin and Jennifer. Whatever Sandra was doing, she always had her companion, her dog, Bella, with her.

Sandra departed this life early Sunday, August 6, 2023 at her home in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 82 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lucinda Gaither and a sister, Vickie Hilger.

Those left to mourn will miss her spirit of fun and adventure. Survivors include her three children, Kevin Daniels and wife, Rita of Peggs, OK, Carla Jumper of Tahlequah, OK and Dustin Daniels and wife, Jennifer of Tahlequah, OK; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her nephew, Bud Conley; other extended family and friends.

Viewing will begin Tuesday morning at 11:00 am and continue through the Visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm.

The Celebration of Sandra's life will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner. Officiating will be the Reverend Lisa Sowers.

Interment will follow in Moodys Cemetery, Moodys, OK. Pallbearers will be Dustin Daniels, Kevin Daniels, Dylan Daniels, Cynch Daniels, Jack Most and Bud Conley.
