Obituary

Sandra Kay (Smith) Pepper was born December 31, 1947 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to her loving parents, Harold and Vivian (Gross) Smith. She graduated from Wagoner High School and began her journey through life. She met Woodrow Wilson Chan in Oklahoma. They were married, and then moved to the Boston, Massachusetts area for more than thirty years. Following her husband's death, Sandy moved back to Oklahoma to be near her family. She was the cornerstone of her family and will be greatly missed by all. She was very direct, but Sandy also had a great sense of humor. Sandy departed this life Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Shane Flora; a brother, Danny Ray Smith; and her husband and father of Jason and David, Woodrow Wilson Chan. Survivors include two sons, Jason Chan of Portland, Oregon and David Chan of Vancouver, Washington; one sister, Janet Faye Darrol of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a daughter-in-law, Tina Flora; three grandchildren, Karrie Ann Flora, Michael Flora, and Danny Flora; nieces, Jessi Kenny, Stacie and Jason Vunetich, and Melissa Jo Smith; nephews, Michael Darrol and Justin Smith; other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
