Shannon Dean (Cummings) Hollifield was born April 26, 1972 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Tommy Lee and Vicki Lynn (Hildebrand) Cummings. She married her husband of thirty years, Michael Wayne Hollifield Jr., on March 25, 1993.

Shannon departed this life on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, OK at the age of 50 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Cummings, in 2022.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Hollifield, sons, Blaine Maloy and Nicholas Wayne, all of Wagoner, OK; her father, Tommy Cummings of Wagoner, OK; her father-in-law, Michael Wayne Hollifield and wife, Christine of Antlers, OK; mother-in-law, Donna Young of Muskogee, OK; brothers-in-law, John Hollifield, Andy Aldridge and wife, Amanda, Joseph Hollifield, Enoch Hollifield and wife, Annie, Brent McCoy, Clint McCoy and wife, Rachel; aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Shannon's life will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at Muskogee Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 170 N. Country Club Road, Muskogee, OK 74403.
