Sharon Ann (McLauchlin) Chuculate was born July 24, 1939 in Dresden, North Dakota. She was delivered by a midwife and was the 6th of eight children (five boys and three girls) born to Donald Allen McLauchlin and Mary Louise (Steve) McLaughlin. A few years later, in 1941, the family moved from the farm to the city and made their home in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Sharon attended St. Mary's Catholic Church from 1941 to 1956. Her schooling included St. Mary's Elementary School from 1943-1952 and St. James High School from 1952-1956.

She married Wiley Chuculate in 1966. When he was out of the U.S. Air Force the family moved to Seattle, Washington, and then to Wagoner in 1972. They divorced in 1977.

Sharon went to work for Brockway Glass in Muskogee in 1976 and retired in 1998 for her health. She was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wagoner.

Sharon departed this life Thursday, February 1, 2018 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at 80 years of age. She preceded in death by her parents and six of her siblings, Donald Richard (Dick), Robert James (Bob), Donna, Lee, James (Johnny) and Billy.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Derek Chuculate and his wife, Teresa, and Aaron Chuculate; one sister, Pat; four grandchildren (three boys and one girl); one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; other extended family; her church family and friends.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Friday. The Memorial Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, February 10, 2018, both at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wagoner. The Reverend Father Leonard Ahanotu will officiate.
