Funeral services for Sharon Kaye (Tackett) Guinn, 67, of Wagoner will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 27 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with Pastor Preston Beeks officiating. Sharon was born Nov. 19, 1944 in Wagoner, OK to her parents, James Cornelius J.C.' and Wilma Maxine (Yates) Tackett. She grew up in Tulsa and graduated Nathan Hale High School. Sharon worked as an accounting secretary for the Wagoner Community Hospital, the Tackett Agency in Wagoner and the University of Arkansas. After retiring, she and her husband, James traveled in their RV, wintering in Texas and spending their summers in Paradise Valley at Roaring River, Missouri. She loved to comb the beaches for sand dollars. Sharon also enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting and bead working. She also loved to garden and can the rewards of her work. Sharon was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren and her dogs. Sharon passed away peacefully at her home in Wagoner, Tuesday, July 24. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother and her granddaughter, Emily Hurlburt. She is survived by her husband, James Guinn of the home; three children, Rebecca Hurlburt and Chuck of Farmington, Arkansas, Wayne Feterly of Wagoner and Leanna Foshe and John also of Farmington; five grandchildren, Jordan and Samantha Hurlbert, Kaitlyn Feterly and Haley and Caleb Foshe; a step-daughter, Angel Bardsley; three step-grandchildren, Elizabeth Caudle and Mike, Jacob Williams and Chance Bardsley; a great-grandchild, Payton Caudle; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be John Yates, Don Yates, Roger Tackett, Paul Tackett, Chuck Hurlburt and John Foshe. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Guinn, Caleb Foshe and Louis White. Funeral arrangements and interment in the Farmington Cemetery are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
