Funeral services for Sharon Kay Wolfe, 67, of Muskogee will be held at 2:00, Wednesday, Oct. 3 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with Pastor David Howell officiating. Sharon was born Sept. 29, 1945 in Richmond, Missouri to her parents, Charles and Mary (Church) Whitehead. At an early age, her family moved to the Muskogee-Wagoner area where Sharon attended school. She worked as a nurse and caregiver for area nursing homes until her retirement and she was always a wonderful homemaker. Sharon was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed puzzles, crocheting and loved spending time with her family and devoted dog, Sophie. She passed away Saturday, Sept. 29 in Muskogee. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Wolfe in 2003 and by her two sons, Charles Eugene and Douglas Wayne Hill. She is survived by her children, Frances Main and fiancé, Bryan Strebel of Okay, Sheril Morgan and husband, Bubby of Muskogee and Jerry Hill also of Muskogee; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Sophie. Funeral arrangements and interment in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
