Sherry Kay (Gore) Garrett-Linehan was born September 20, 1949 in Alliance, Nebraska to Ross James and Violett (Chambers) Gore.

She owned and operated convenience stores and was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma.  Sherry enjoyed growing flowers and loved her dogs.

Sherry passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father and an infant son.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Michael Linehan of the home; her children, Jack Garrett and wife, Laura, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Bob Garrett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her mother, Violett Gore of Stilwell, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Hannah Garrett, Cruse Garrett, Isabella Garrett, Brooke Garrett, Andra Garrett, Alex Garrett, Rebecca Garrett, and Aaron Choute; siblings, Lelan Gore and wife, Kathy, of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Donna Gibbs and husband, Don, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Lisa Michael and husband, George, of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Denise Ellis and husband, Danny, of Grants Pass, Oregon; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the Rock Springs Baptist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma with Reverend David Poplin and Reverend Wayne Crozier officiating.
