IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sherry Leann
Hulett
May 6, 1970 – May 11, 2017
Sherry LeAnn Hulett was born May 6, 1970 in Tulsa, OK to Alfred D. and Joyce M. (McAnelly) Staton. Following high school graduation Sherry continued her training to become a licensed practical nurse. She provided nursing care to patients at the Veterans Center in Claremore, Home Health Agencies and Brookside Senior Living Center.
Sherry's sons recall how she was active in their lives while they were growing up. She was always supporting their participation in soccer, wrestling and baseball. They fondly remember how she taught them to dance. Sherry dearly loved her grandchildren, Eli and Isaac. She had a caring nature and a strong personality, and her family always told her she would make a good lawyer. She was the one everyone went to with a question or needing advice. She loved gardening, especially growing strawberries, and fishing. She also liked NASCAR races, and Tony Stewart was her favorite driver
Sherry departed this life Thursday, May 11, 2017 at her home at Rocky Point in Wagoner, OK. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Staton and an infant son, Tyler Dietzfeld.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, William "Bill" Hulett of the home; three sons, Justin Dietzfeld, Joseph Dietzfeld Jr. and Jonathan Dietzfeld, all of Claremore, OK; a stepdaughter and her husband, Kristina and Dustin King of Chelsea, OK; father, Alfred D. Staton of Catoosa; three sisters, Melinda Bishop, Janet Staton and Becky Staton; her parents-in-law, Judy and Bill Hulett of Whitehorn Cove, Wagoner, OK; two grandchildren, Eli and Isaac King; other relatives and friends.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner, OK. The Reverend Bruce VonWald will officiate.
