Surrounded by her family, Shirley Jean Caskey, 82, formerly of Wagoner, passed away peacefully at her home in Adair, Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. She was born August 18, 1930 in Tulsa to her parents, Frank and Leota (Atchley) Marlow. She attended Will Rogers High School in Tulsa and later was united in marriage to Paul Caskey. Along with being a homemaker, Shirley worked for American Airlines for a time, before working at Baker's Restaurant for many years. She also volunteered at Wagoner Community Hospital and donated many of her craftworks and paintings which she enjoyed making. She and Paul lived in the Snug Harbor area for many years before moving to Adair. Shirley is survived by her husband of 64 years, Paul Caskey of the home; their children, Tom Caskey and his wife, Diana of Big Cabin, Paulette Caskey of Wagoner, Peggy Caskey of Batesville, AR, Randy Caskey and Clay Caskey also of Wagoner; eight grandchildren, Danny, Heather, Shelley, Stacey, Amy, Jason, Julie and Whitney; eleven great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Shyanna, Devin, Megan, Levi, Tyler, Austin, Brayden, Samantha and Danny Jr.; a sister, Marlene Thompson of South Carolina; other relatives and many friends. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Mallett Funeral Home. A committal service will be held Thursday, 12:00 p.m., at the Adair Cemetery, Adair, OK followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., at the Harvest Time Worship Center, Adair, OK officiated by the Reverend Rick Walden. Pallbearers are Clay Caskey, Dylan Brodie, Devin Hawkins, Jacob Ode, Jason Wylie and Ryan Hawkins. . Funeral arrangements are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
