Stanley Robert Galyen departed this life on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 77 years.  He was born on February 9, 1948, in Madera, California, to Ray Galyen and Evelyn (Cartwright) Galyen.  Stanley attended and graduated from Fort Gibson High School in 1967.  Stanley was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, representing love, dedication, and warmth in every role he cherished.

Stanley was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting, particularly deer, as well as fishing and camping.  He cherished the time at the lake and found joy entertaining friends and family, sharing his enthusiasm for outdoor activities, and creating memorable experiences.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Evelyn Galyen; his brothers, Tim Abernathy and Rodney Abernathy.

Those left to cherish the many fond memories of Stanley Galyen's life are his children, Sammy (Richelle) Galyen of Wagoner, OK, Shannon (Ronnie) Cowden of Okay, OK, Annasty Clopton of Fort Smith, AR, Tiffany (Lee) Risley of Sallisaw, OK, and Corey (Amber) Galyen of Fort Smith, AR; numerous grandchildren; and great grandchildren; his sisters, Vicky Woodall of Muskogee, OK, and Sherry (Terry) Brake of Muskogee, OK; sisters-in-law, Teresa Abernathy of TN and Lisa Abernathy of AR; all who will miss him greatly.

Although Stanley will be missed greatly, his family will find comfort in the numerous cherished memories they shared throughout his lifetime, serving as a lasting reminder of his enduring presence and the love he imparted.
