IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stanley Deral
Mcnack
August 4, 1956 – April 16, 2025
Stanley Deral McNack was born on August 4, 1956, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, one of six children born to William Gene McNack Sr. and Edna Earlene (Washington) McNack. He was the youngest of the three sons. Stanley graduated from Wagoner High School in 1975 and went on to earn a degree in finance from Northeastern State University and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College between 1976 and 1980. In 1981, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country with great honor and often spoke with pride about his time as a soldier.
Stanley's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He was baptized at Union Baptist Church at a young age and maintained a close relationship with the Lord throughout his life. A man of passion and perseverance, Stanley was known for his love of basketball, where he was mentored by coaches Bill Benham and Roger Hayes. He was also an avid fisherman, enjoyed attending church services, and could occasionally be found at the casino enjoying a bit of fun.
Stanley was a true inspiration to all who knew him. He had a sense of humor that could light up a room, and his determination was unmatched. If he set his mind to something, he pursued it with everything he had. He was an unwavering source of support to his children, always cheering them on in every endeavor. A devoted son, uncle, and friend, Stanley's presence in the lives of those around him was a gift.
In his professional life, Stanley worked as an accountant at Sooner Management, where his work ethic and dedication left a lasting impact, especially on his sister Sonya, with whom he worked for 25 years. Outside of work, Stanley also had a talent for masonry, having built his own home with the help of his brothers, Joe and Billy, laying each brick with pride.
On April 16, 2025, at the age of 68, Stanley passed away and was called home to be with his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his father, William Gene McNack Sr.; his brother, Joe McNack Sr.; grandsons, Devon McNack, Saxton, and Stephen Watley; his ex-wife, Brenda McNack; and the mother of his son, Ida Mae Davis.
Stanley leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, cherished by his beloved mother, Edna McNack; his siblings, William McNack (Linda), Sherry Boyd, Tammy Ray (Johnny), and Sonya McNack; his children, Deral Stanley Jr., Shavon Watley (Steven Watley), and Sue McNack; 21 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, as well as his close friends, Cynthia Webber and Verna Robbins, all who knew him will miss him deeply.
The family will greet friends at a Visitation on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5-7 pm, in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life honoring the life of Stanley McNack will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Union Baptist Church, Wagoner, Oklahoma. Reverend Jamie Powell will officiate.
Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
