Steven Michael Muns was born September 8, 1965 in Tulsa, OK to Harold Nean Varnell Muns Sr. and Mary Marie (Barok) Muns, both of whom preceded him in death. He had made is home in the Whitehorn Cove area near Wagoner for a number of years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.) Union # 584 in Tulsa. Steven worked in large industrial jobs during his career. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, whittling, and whistling to the birds. He seemed to have a special connection with all animals. He enjoyed being with his family and never met a stranger; everyone was a friend. He was always there to lend a helping hand to all. Steven and Renee shared a loving home and special pet names for each other. He was her "Mtr. Man", and she was his "George". Steven departed this life on Monday, May 6, 2013 in Wagoner at the age of 47 years, 7 months and 28 days. He is survived by his wife, Renee James of the home; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Jack Maness, Dianna and Matthew Davis, Patricia Ammos and Theresa Huett; by a brother, Lonnie Godfrey; his children, Delana, Marissa, Travis, and Steven; step-daughters, Courtney Phyllips and Brittney James; grandchildren, Josh, Jeffrey, Gracie, and Sumer Phyllips; numerous nieces and nephews, Deanna Davis, Mary, Danny Elledge, Jackie Maness Jr. and family, Heather Brackett and family, Dustin Hatcher, William Hatcher, Kayla Hatcher, Belinda Ridley, and Yalanda and Dani Juarez; great-nieces and nephew, Keihanna, Kaiedience, Toni, and Anthony Jr. Coleman; a host of other relatives and friends. He will always be loved and greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service at Mallett Funeral Home Chapel is pending.
