TaShawna "Belle" Lavonne Allison was born on August 26, 1977, in Wagoner, Oklahoma to
Trina Lavonne (Allison) Strickland. She came into this life with challenges that started
immediately. She strived to overcome the obstacles that she faced in life, no matter what they
were. Ta Shawna had a passion to live life to the fullest. She graduated from Muskogee High
School in 1997.
TaShawna was vivacious and a sweet-spirited woman who loved life. She enjoyed all genres of
music and danced at every opportunity that arose; you might say she had a great passion for
dancing.
Belle loved her family immensely, and they will forever be blessed that she was a part of their
lives. She was a compassionate person and had a huge heart for others. In the short time she
was here she touched the lives of many. Many looked up to Belle for her attitude of making the
best of life. The impact of her living will stay with them in their hearts and memories.
Belle departed this life on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the age of 46 years at her home in
Wagoner, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her mother, Trina Strickland; grandparents,
Lavonne Swafford and Frankie D. Allison; and an uncle, Clay Allison. Her passing will leave a void
in the lives of all who knew her.
Those left to cherish TaShawna's memory include her brother, Gregory Strickland and wife,
Amy, of Muskogee, Oklahoma; nieces, Mariah and Aaliyah Strickland; aunt, Deann Wood of
Collinsville, Oklahoma; cousin, Shelley Burris of Wagoner, Oklahoma; stepfather, Johnny
Warren of Haskell, Oklahoma; and numerous cousins and great aunts.

The family will greet friends at a Visitation on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. in the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, Wagoner, OK.

A Celebration of Life, honoring the life of Tashawna "Belle" Allison will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of God in Wagoner, Oklahoma, with Reverend Bruce VonWald officiating.

Interment with follow at Agnew Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
