Wagoner

Taylor Lynn Allison, age 82, departed this life on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of his family.

Taylor was born on January 19, 1944, in Frankston, Texas, to Samuel M Allison and Clara Anna (Bradshaw) Allison.

Taylor proudly served his country in the United States Navy, an honor he carried throughout his life. Following his military service, he worked as a dump truck driver for John Yates Trucking. He was a hardworking man who understood the value of putting in an honest day’s work.

In his free time, Taylor enjoyed fishing and had a special interest in antique cars. He liked working on them, collecting them, and appreciating the craftsmanship and character of older automobiles. These interests brought him many hours of enjoyment over the years and became a memorable part of who he was. He also loved to cook, especially for others.

Taylor will be remembered as a man who valued hard work, enjoyed the outdoors, and took pride in the things that interested him most. His service to his country, his years of work, and the life he lived will be remembered by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Clara Allison; and his sister, Clara Edith Berkeley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Linda Allison of Skiatook, Oklahoma; his daughter, Lyndsey Allison of Muskogee, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Jessie Scroggins of Wagoner, Oklahoma; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Taylor will be deeply missed, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and cared for him.
