Teresa Jayne Marruffo was born March 27, 1961 in Muskogee, OK to Lowel H. and Nadine E. (Edmiston) Lawson. She was a registered nurse and provided loving care to hospital patients.

Teresa was always actively involved in raising her daughters, Sara, Rosa and Cristina. The Camp Fire organization was a big part of her life. She enjoyed hiking, camping, traveling, reading and biking. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wagoner. She was very crafty as well.

Teresa departed this life Monday, November 6, 2017 at Hillcrest South in Tulsa, OK. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nadine Lawson; her father, Lowel Lawson, and stepmother, Patsy R. Lawson; a step-sister, Gale Ashbrener; sister-in-law, Gloria Maruffo; sister-in-law, Dora Marruffo, and mother-in-law, Virginia Marruffo.

Teresa is survived by three daughters, Sara Marruffo and her wife, Torrie Blodget of Portland, Oregon, Rosa Marruffo of Brooklyn, New York and Cristina Marruffo of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a sister and brother-in-law, Stephanna and Michael Hays of Wagoner, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters-in–law, Tommy and Tana Lawson of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Mark and Brenda Ashbrener of Wagoner; sister-in-law, Guadalupe "Lupe" Johnson and her husband, Roger; the father of her children, Ricardo Marruffo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and her beloved companion, Sweetie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 11 at 4:30 at First United Methodist Church.
