Terri Ann Smith was born May 13, 1963 in Adair, Oklahoma to James Eugene Hairston and Cathie Ann (Lowry) Hairston Garrison. Terri graduated from Wagoner High School in 1981. She attended the Revive Church and found comfort and enjoyment in listening to worship music.
Terri was employed at Bill Teague Elementary School for 25 years in many different capacities. She loved being around the children. Most recently she served in the capacity of elementary art teacher.
In her spare time Terri enjoyed arts and crafts, antiques and garage sales. She loved holidays and other times the family would get together. Her very favorites were vacations with the grandkids.
Terri departed this life Monday, August 30, 2021 in Colorado at the age of 58 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Hairston and Cathie Garrison and two brothers, Tony Garrison and Kenny Garrison.
Terri's family and friends will greatly miss her. Her family left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Smith; three children, Scott Smith, Candace Smith and Brittany Cloud and her husband, James; grandchildren, Jake Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Presley Ryel, Aspen Smith, Hadleigh Smith, Briella Cloud and Baby Cloud; her stepfather, Jimmy Garrison and his wife, Glenda; brother, James Garrison; sister, Sharri Chaverria and husband, Emigdio; several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday, September 6, 2021 at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner.
The funeral to celebrate Terri's life will be held at 11 am Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the First Assembly of God Church in Wagoner. Officiating will be Pastor Danny Fisher.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. The pallbearers will be James Cloud, Erik Nichols, Raymond Chaverria, T. J. Garrison, J. J. Garrison and Gary Cloud. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Smith and James Garrison.
