Thomas Day was born December 2, 1937 in Tulsa, OK to William Franklin and Sylvia Mary Mae (Orsburn) Day, He was a member of the Class of 1956 at Broken Arrow High School. Before retirement Tom was employed in road construction.

Tom's family and friends fondly recall how he loved telling stories and travelling and enjoyed flea markets and garage sales. He liked fishing and restoring old cars.

Tom departed this life Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his Wagoner home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Day; his parents; a grandson, Braden Eli Robertson; two brothers, Richard Edward Day and Bill Eugene Day Jr., and three sisters, Dorothy Jean Barnes, Doris Marie Jones and Nadine Day.

Survivors include his children, Amy Yandell of Tahlequah, OK, Tony Edward Day and wife, Susan, of Union Town, AR, Dana Allison and husband, Gary, of Wagoner, OK and Tami Workman of Tulsa, OK; a sister, Margie Lowther of Wagoner, OK; grandchildren, Ashlyn Satterfield, Cannon Yandell, Cruz Yandell, Kyle Ruehle, Emily Hightower, Cody Allison, Cory Allison, Casey Allison, Landon Workman, Andrea Brisher, Hannah Doyeto, Gary Barrett and Jarred Phelps; numerous great-grandchildren and other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday at the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner.
