Thomas "Tommy" Joseph Gilbert Jr was introduced into this life on April 8th, 1965 in Muskogee, OK to, Shirley Lois Choate-Gilbert and Thomas "Tommy" Joseph Gilbert Sr. Tommy lived the majority of his life in Wagoner OK, where most knew him as Little Tommy or Rabbit.

Throughout his life Tommy worked in various jobs. Several of his employers have commented on his trustworthiness to always get the job done. At Unarco he handled shipping, and he was also employed by the Wagoner County Commissioners as a truck driver.

Tommy was called home December 15th 2020 at the age of 55 years. Preceding him in his journey home were his father, Thomas "Tommy" Gilbert Sr., his mother, Shirley Lois Gilbert, grandparents, Tom and Nell Gilbert and Bill and Dorothy Choate, two uncles, Lee and Walter Choate and two  aunts, Liz Gilbert McMahan and Sarah Gilbert Cragel.

Tommy enjoyed life and his friends and family who survive him. They include his daughters, Haley Addison Gilbert of Braggs, OK and her mother, Charlotte White-Sanders of Muskogee, OK, Katie Rae Gilbert of Tulsa, OK, Amanda Jo Ayenson and her husband, Mika Ayenson of Baltimore, Maryland, Tammy Diane Gilbert of Tulsa, OK and her life companion, Casey Jenkins of Cole, TX; his first wife, Karen Crisswell-McNatt of Mannford, OK; grandchildren, Hayden Lane Voyles and fiancé, Katie of Wagoner, OK, Gracie Abigail Orman of Maryland, Avery Allyson Kubert of Tulsa, OK, Ty Jonathan Kubert of Tulsa, OK; a first great-grandchild expected in June; aunts, Debbie Choate and her son, Justin Pease of Wagoner, OK, Susan Gilbert Wassom of Wagoner, OK and Mary and Russell Moody of Texas; and a host of cousins and many friends.
