Memorial services for Thomas McGrady, 82, of Wagoner will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 20 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with Pastor James Shires and Elder Jack Harris officiating. Tom was one of eleven children of his parents, Thomas and Carrie (Dalton) McGrady, born Feb. 24, 1931 in Blackstone, Virginia. He grew up and attended school in Virginia before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. During his enlistment he worked as a flight engineer and in the cryto electronics field and was stationed all over the country and in England. After retirement he moved to Wagoner where he was a devoted member and Deacon of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Tom passed away Monday, Jan. 13 at his home in Wagoner. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Ruth (Cruz) McGrady and seven of his siblings. He is survived by his sons, Dennis McGrady and wife, Linda of Georgia, Thomas McGrady and wife, Deborah of Georgetown, CA, Ron McGrady of Citrus Heights, CA. and Steve McGrady and wife, Doreen of Hesperia, CA.; eight grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn, Betty and Carol; numerous nieces and nephews; his beloved church family and close friends. Final arrangements were directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
