Thomas Louis Porter was born April 29, 1957 in Centralia, Illinois to Marvin Louis Porter and Eunice (Sager) Porter.  He graduated from Sperry, OK High School in 1975.  Thomas had been employed at Evans Enterprises for many years, and had recently been honored with a 25 years employee party.

In his spare time Thomas enjoyed being home, watching televisions, especially NASCAR racing and smoking food with friends.  He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Thomas departed this life Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at his Tulsa, OK home.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice, and his stepmother since 1971, Vesta Porter and grandparents, Elmer and Ella Porter.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Marvin and  Euva Porter of Coweta, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Lawanna and Roy Hunter of Haskell, OK; brother, Steve Porter of Tulsa, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday at the Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.
