Truman Ray Watkins was born January 8, 1934 in Hulbert, OK to Clyde and Nora Watkins. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1951. He and his first wife, Shirley, welcomed their son, Audie, in 1954.
Truman joined the U.S. Air Force in 1957. While stationed in England Truman met his wife, Josephine at Trafalgar Square, and they married on April 9, 1960.

The family relocated back to Oklahoma one more time in 1978. Truman was an electrician and worked for NMP for over twenty years. He loved going on field trips to work on Navy ships.
Truman enjoyed metal detecting, carpentry, coin collecting, traveling and watching movies from his 700+ DVD collection. His favorites were action movies. He and his longtime friend, Gene Peters enjoyed going to the casinos. The family is comforted in knowing Gene called Truman and visited with him just a week before his passing. He liked to spend time with his sisters also, either going to lunch or watching them bowl. Truman's family will always remember him as a loving dad. He was just sweet to anyone he met, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
