Vesta Cannon Parker, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, left us on June 25, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Dick Parker, in December, 2008. Vesta was born September 17, 1919. She lived her early life in Wagoner, moving to Tulsa at an early age. She was most proud of her contributions to the WW II efforts while at Douglas Aircraft. She is survived by her son, Richard and his wife, Sheila; two grandsons, Jason and Kelly, all of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. A memorial service was held at 1 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Mallett Funeral Home. Pastor Yvonne Buchanan officiated. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner
