The funeral service for Vincent Arthur Barwick Jr. will be at 8:30 am Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK. The Reverend Scott Sharrer will officiate.

Interment will be at 10:00 am at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, OK. Pallbearers will be Steven Woolsey, Ray Sharrer, Scott Sharrer, Tony Bivens, Jake Sharrer and Brandon Bivens.

Vincent was born June 29, 1942 in Olympia, Washington to Vincent A. Barwick, Sr and Dorothy (Tierney) Barwick.

He enjoyed life to the fullest. It was while he was living in Alaska and working as a crab fisherman that Vince met the love of his life, Linda Kay. They both loved to travel and shared many great experiences. They truly enjoyed a wonderful life together, making their home in many places, including Hawaii, before settling in Wagoner, OK about nineteen years ago. During most of his life Vincent worked in construction, mostly as a heavy equipment operator.

Vincent departed this life Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Linda, in 2015.

Survivors include a brother, Paul; two sisters, Christine and Patricia; a number of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
