Wiley Gene "Wally" Chuculate was born March 14, 1943 in Pawnee, OK to Joseph Chuculate, Sr. and Ira Belle (Ballard) Chuculate. Following high school, Wally served in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He was employed at Ford Glass as a float control operator for thirty-one years before his retirement in 2005 and was a member of the UAW #1895. Wally's hobbies included lake activities and traveling, and he liked to work with cattle. He not only found a great sense of pride in the work that he accomplished throughout his lifetime, but also in the family that he called his own. Wally spent his time thinking back on the life he and his wife, Gwen, had built together as a result of their hard work, love and dedication during their 43 years together.

Wally departed this life on Wednesday, June 13, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK at age 74. He was preceded in death by his parents; a child, Jeffery Deatherage and brothers, Joe Chuculate, Richard Chuculate and Kenneth Chuculate.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Gwen Chuculate of the home; children, Derek and wife, Teresa Chuculate of Wagoner, OK, Sonya Rios of Rio Rancho, NM, Aaron Chuculate of Wagoner, OK and Ronnie Deatherage and wife, Jayne of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; sister, Julia Ballard and husband, Clyde, of Rose, OK; brother Dutch Chuculate of Hulbert, OK; grandchildren, Nikki Chuculate, Ashton Deatherage-Voth, Nathan Chuculate, Emmally Deatherage, Dustin Chuculate, Grace Rios and Monica Chuculate; great-grandchildren, Peyton Chuculate and Grayson Voth; other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather for a Visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday evening at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory in Wagoner.

The Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM Friday at the First Baptist Church, 401 N.E. 2nd Street, Wagoner, OK. The Reverend Dan French will officiate.

Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner, OK. Pallbearers will be Mike Cordova, Rick Parks, Ron Davis, Mike Strait, John Nation, Joe Longoria, Jackson Buzzard, Ted Chandler and Joe Lundy. Honorary Pallbearer will be Don Alexander .
