William Hulon Collins was born on January 28, 1936, to Hulon Collins and Catherine (McCravey) Collins in Amarillo, Texas. He served his country proudly in different branches of the military the Air Force, Navy, and Air Force National Guard. William married the love of his life, Judy Marie Parsons, on March 21, 1997.
William enjoyed life, and family was everything to him. He loved spending time with his grandsons and his grandchildren. William had a huge heart, especially when it came to animals; his dogs and cats, if you asked him were part of the family. William also enjoyed honorably and faithfully serving his country until his retirement of the Air Force National Guard.
William departed this life on Friday, February 23, 2024, at his home in Wagoner, OK., surrounded by his loving family. Preceding him in death were his parents, Hulon and Catherine Collins; a son, Lee Heimbach; and a sister, Billie Catherine Miller.
Cherishing the memories of William are his loving wife, Judy of the home; a daughter, Amber Mashburn-Neel and her husband, Michael of Chouteau, OK; grandsons, Dominyc Hogans, and Phoenyx Neel; a son, John Hulon Collins and his wife, Cindi of Wagoner, OK; a daughter, Veronica Lee Collins of Florida; a daughter, Theressa Sexton and her partner, Eddie of Hawaii; a son, Russell Heimbach of Broken Arrow, OK; a granddaughter, Amanda and her wife, Carolyn Pruitt of Wagoner, OK; granddaughter, Keisha Roberts and her husband, Bobby of Texas; many other grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss him dearly.
A Memorial Service, honoring the Life of William Collins, will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, at Twin Oaks Baptist Church. Dr. Reverend Wesley Graver, officiating
Interment will follow in National Cemetery, in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, with Military Funeral Honors.
