Funeral services for William L. Bill' Moody, 69 of Park Hill, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2010 at the First Christian Church in Mineola, Texas. Bill was born August 9, 1940 in Mineola to Lucius Clayborne and Lula (Vivrett) Moody. He grew up and graduated from high school in Mineola. Bill worked for many years as a penitentiary guard for the State of Texas. He enjoyed the mental challenge of games such as crossword puzzles and word search, and he loved old movies. Bill passed away Monday, February 22 at the Tahlequah City Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Sarah Miller. He is survived by his wife, Mary Moody of the home; his son, Keith Moody and his wife, Sherry, of Wagoner; his daughter Janis Merrell of Hawkins, Texas; a brother, Pat Moody, and his wife, Madeline of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren, Ashton, J.R., Jamie, Kaitlyn, Mikaila and Elijah; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kayden and Brayden; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers for Bill will be Johnny Ray Merrell, Rudy Miller, Mike Miller, Clay Moody, Brent Lawson and Trey Harder
