Bill will be laid to rest at a graveside service at 11 am Friday, June 9, 2023 in Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.
Officiating will be the Reverend Jordan Ward.
Family and friends may view Thursday evening from 5 - 7 pm at Mallett Funeral Home.
William James "Bill" Roe was born December 10, 1949 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to William and Janice Roe. He grew up in Galesburg, Michigan and graduated from Galesburg Augusta High School in 1968. He then attended Western Michigan University where he earned a bachelor's degree and continued his studies to nearly completing his master's.
In his early years Bill worked in sales and marketing in various industrial settings, including Acme Engineering. Bill moved to Oklahoma where he was employed as a manager for Bob Loftis Furniture for nearly 30 years.
Bob departed this life Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Saint Francis Hospital in Muskogee, OK at the age of 73 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Janice Roe; a daughter, Jennifer Roe; a brother, Steven Roe and a nephew, Matthew Roe.
He is survived by Linda Cannon Roe, to whom he was married 32 years, of Wagoner, OK; daughters, Dawn Pearson and husband, Dave, of Portage, MI, Lisa Charboneau and husband, Charles of Muskogee, OK; sons, Greg Weeden of Wagoner, OK and Chris Weeden of McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Lindsey Webb and husband, Dillon, Joseph Charboneau, April Charboneau, Zachary Pillars, Brian Watson and Max Pearson; great-grandchildren, Charlie Webb, Riley Webb, Jayden Watson and Sawyer Watson; brother, Mark Roe and wife, Mary of Toledo, OH; sister, Pam Vanderberg and husband, Terry of Vicksburg, MI; sister-in-law, Cindy Roe of Galesburg, MI; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
