Obituary

William Wilber Tucker was born on November 9, 1948 to Wilbur Tucker and Rosa (Brumfield) Copple in Pendleton, Oregan.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army from July 23, 1969, to January 30, 1972. He actively served one year during the Vietnam War.

William enjoyed going to the casino.  He really liked playing the slot machines.  Genealogy was a hobby in which he had a significant interest.  Researching the family tree was something he loved to do in his spare time.  Family was also of great importance in his life.

William Tucker departed this life on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at his home in Wagoner, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years.  Preceding him in death are his parents, Wilbur Tucker and Rosa Copple; brother, Ronald VanHorn; and sisters, Sarah King and Alice Mary Murphy.

Cherishing many memories of William include his sister, Barbara Rogers and her companion, Rusty Miller of Wagoner, OK; brother, Daniel VanHorn of Wagoner, OK; brother, Timothy VanHorn and his wife, Carrie of Wagoner, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss him greatly.

A Private inurnment will take place at National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
