Obituary

Winna Mae Brown was born April 16, 1936 in Hulbert, OK to Ted and Susie (Terrell) Wright. She grew up in Hulbert and graduated from Hulbert High School. Most of Winna's adult life was spent in Tulsa. She worked as a truck driver dispatcher, at a dry cleaners, and mostly as a credit clerk for the Vandivers department store in Tulsa before her retirement. For the last few years Winna made her home in Wagoner, OK with her husband, Clayton "Bud" White, who preceded her in death February 5.

Winna Mae departed this life Wednesday, March 21, 2018, surrounded by her family at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud White; her parents, Ted and Susie Wright; a daughter, Vickie Downs and two sisters, Teddie Sue Owens and Tommie Faye Davis.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Rose and her husband, Jack, of Claremore, OK; three grandchildren, Dustin Downs and wife, Jenna of Tulsa, OK Dallas Rose and wife, Tiffany of Adair, OK and Cierra Rose of Claremore, OK ; great-grandchildren, Dawnte, Cortanna, Shadow and another great-grandson on the way; three nieces and their families, Karen Choate and Eric Harlan and their children, Heather, Holly, D.J., and Cameron and grandchild, Cameron; Sherry and Billy Harris and Yolanda Owens; a nephew, Dwight Owens; a brother-in-law, Kenny Owens; three cousins; other extended family and friends; and her beloved dog, Kiki.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner. The Reverend Lisa Sowers will officiate.
