Barbara Ann (Elkins) Dillingham was born December 30, 1936 in Vanns Lake, near Porter, Oklahoma to her parents, Alvis Leroy "Roy" Elkins and Gladys (Johnson) Elkins. She lived most of her life in the Porter area and graduated from Porter High School. Barbara completed a number of special training courses to develop her career as an electronics technician and quality control inspector for the manufacturing of water treatment controllers. Her work ethic was unprecedented, as she did not retire until the first week of July following her 82 ^nd birthday.

Barbara was an avid reader and enjoyed bird watching. She loved attending flea markets and antique stores. She would sometimes find Frankoma pottery to add to her collection. All her family received gifts to build their own Frankoma collections.

Barbara departed this life Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the Wagoner Care Center in Wagoner, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gladys Elkins; her son, Troy Wade Dillingham and a sister, Helen Locasso.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Becky Dillingham of Porter, OK; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda Walker-Conard and Patrick Conard of Marion, TX and Peggy and Steve Grady of Haskell, OK; grandchildren, Lucas, Daniel, Sabrina, Johnny, Jeff, Ashleigh, Tawnya and Travis; great-grandchildren, Ashlin, Mason, Ella, Trae, Zaden, Oliver, Alison, Titus, Wyatt, Shelby and Coy; a great-great granddaughter, Madilyn Mae; brother and sister-in-law, Paul Edgar and Sue Elkins of Los Alamos, NM; two sisters, Marie Miles of Tulsa, OK and Ina Linzy and husband, Kenneth of Porter, OK; brother-in-law, Jim Locasso of Santa Ana, CA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family and friends will gather for a Visitation Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner.

The Funeral service to celebrate Barbara's life will be at 2 pm Friday, March 10, 2023 at Porter First Baptist Church. The Reverend Dennis Piearcy will officiate.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Porter. Pallbearers will be Travis Dillingham, Daniel Dillingham, Johnny Conley, Jeff Walker, Chuck Miles and Kevin Linzy.
