Obituary

Carroll Denton Bolinger of Muskogee, OK passed this life on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the age of 77 years. Carroll was born August 5, 1944 in Muskogee to Clinton N. and Noma Beatrice (Barrett) Bolinger. Following graduation from high school Carroll attended two years of college at NEO in Miami, OK on a two year working/football scholarship.

He was a certified welder and licensed plumber as well as a journeyman pipefitter by trade and worked mainly on large construction projects. He was also a licensed welder. Carroll was a longtime member of UA Local 351 out of Muskogee, transferring to the UA Local 430 in Tulsa later on when the Muskogee local closed.

Carroll married his wife of 51 years, the former Janet L. Reid, on June 19, 1970. The shared so many happy time together. They both loved to fish and hunt deer. Carroll adored his family, in particular his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Noma Bolinger; two brothers, Virgil Bolinger and Deany Bolinger and a sister, Minnie Smith.

Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Bolinger of the home; his daughter, Crystal Sacra and her children, Henry Sacra and Stella Sacra of Tulsa, OK; his son, Gregg Bolinger, his wife, Candice and their children, Ben Bolinger, Alex Bolinger and Christian Bolinger, all of Wichita, KS; a sister, Annajean Adams; a brother, Kurt Bolinger; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
