Chester Glen Jones was born May 28, 1928 in Megargel, Texas to Jessie and Beulah. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corp. and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Chester worked as a welder for Frigid Coil in California before retirement.

Chester dearly loved his church and centered his life on his faith and trust in God. He was a minister and served as assistant pastor in Bellflower, and Madera California.

Chester treasured his family and loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and great great-grandkids. He also enjoyed taking his family camping and shooting guns.

Chester departed his life Sunday, September 10, 2023 at his home in Wagoner, Oklahoma at the age of 95. His family is comforted by their faith and was greeted in Heaven by his parents, Jessie and Beulah Jones and his wife Dawn D. Jones.

Left to cherish his memory are his children and their spouses, David and Connie Jones of Benson, Arizona; Michael and Shanda Jones of Wagoner, Oklahoma; Susan Bishop of Fresno, California; George and Sandra Jones of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Ruth Gantt of Wagoner, Oklahoma. 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; 1 sister, Virginia Brasfield of Clovis, California; numerous nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 17, 2023, in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Micah Wisdom officiating.
