Darrrick Lee Barrett was born August 8, 1970 in Rogers, Arkansas to Donald Lee Barrett and Betty Jo (Hardburger) Brewer. He was employed as a maintenance worker at an apartment complex in Bixby, OK. In his spare time he loved fishing and hunting. He loved talking to people and enjoyed watching football and wrestling.

Darrick's family was the most important thing in his life. They will always cherish the memory of how he would always be willing to do for others and the first to step up to help when needed.

Darrick departed this life Monday, September 11, 2023 in Wagoner, OK at the age of 53 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee Barrett.

His loving family who survive him include his wife, Kaye Barrett of the home; his daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and Cory Nevitt of Wagoner, OK; his son, Jacob Barrett of Rogers, AR; a granddaughter, Kinsley Nevitt; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Nuben Brewer of Rogers, AR; a sister, Ladonna Barrett of Wagoner, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.
