Elmer Lee Moss, Jr., Age 83, passed away Tuesday evening, February 26, 2019, surrounded by his loving family and friends, who were in attendance as they completed the "Walk of Honor" leaving the Veterans Hospital in Muskogee, OK.

Elmer Moss was born January 21, 1936 in Hulbert, OK to Elmer Lee Moss Sr. and Florence (Rutherford) Moss. He married Patricia Ann Jenkins on January 9, 1958. They had two daughters, Peggy and Vicki.

He served in the United States Air Force from March 18, 1954 until March 17, 1962. Elmer has served the Lord as a minister since 1971.

His will be greatly missed by his family. Survivors his wife, Patricia Moss of the home in Coweta, OK; two daughters and their husbands, Peggy and Larry Autrey of Monroe, OK and Vicki and Ollie LaGrand of Poteau, OK; six grandchildren, Melissa and Shane Caldwell of Dumas, TX, Michael and Kayla Autrey of Bokoshe, OK, Mallory and Josh Cooper of Poteau, OK, Wesley LaGrand of Cameron, OK, Mary "Thunderfoot" and Zach Givens of Waldron, OK and Ollie LaGrand, Jr. of Poteau, OK; nine great-grandchildren; two special adopted children, Wayne and Teresa Cummins of Coweta, OK, and their children and great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jaulice and James Chalakee and Leona and Cecil Foster, all of Coweta, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; other family and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers.

Viewing will be from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm Friday.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory, 417 East Cherokee Street, Wagoner, OK. Officiant will be the Reverend Clyde Hess, Jr.

Interment will be in the Hulbert Community Cemetery, (IOOF) in Hulbert, OK. Pallbearers will be Wade Moss, Alva Moss, Bobby Moss, Dennis Kelly, Michael Kelly and Jack Fletcher.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Lawrence, Larry Moss, Robert Jennings, grandson Ollie LaGrand, Jr., great-grandchildren, Dakota Autrey, Stormy Autrey, Jazmin Autrey, Jett Autrey, Freya Cooper, Alexis Hartsock, Kami Autrey, Landon "Pow Pow" LaGrand and Konrad Givens.
