A graveside service for Les Sherrick, 57, was held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 28, 2019 in Bennett Addition of Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.  Fellow Masonic Lodge members from Catoosa, OK Lodge #185 performed the Masonic Service.

Leslie Otto "Les" Sherrick was born September 30, 1961 in Tulsa, OK to Wesley Alvin and Virginia Kathleen (Halsey) Sherrick. Les and his family lived in Tulsa until they moved to South Carolina while he was in high school. He later moved to North Carolina, where he met his beloved wife, Ruby Hagans Sherrick. They were married in October, 1985, and began a wonderful life along with their two children, Art and Rebecca. Les was truly a family man and loved his wife, children, and extended family very much. After moving to Wagoner Les owned and operated the Sherrick Lock and Key for many years. His customers became friends through long association and the growth of trust.

Les departed this life following a brief illness. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby (Hagans) Sherrick; his son, Arthur David "Art" Sherrick; brother, Wesley Alvin Sherrick Jr.; sister-in-law, Virginia Ruth Sherrick and nephew, Scott Sherrick.

Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Webb of Begg, OK; a brother, Rex Sherrick and wife, Sharon, of Montgomery, AL; nephews and nieces, Robert Jacob Sherrick and wife, Wendy Nicole, Kimberly Sue Dempsey and husband, Jason; Bradley Sherrick and Aubrey Grace Sherrick; many great nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
